We always self cater so to find your house so full of wonderful stuff was amazing! Foil, cling film was a bonus as was having the weighing scales and a whole box of dish washer tablets instead of the 3 normally left for a week's holiday! I know these are all small things but they make a huge difference! 

Your information pack is so informative and having the maps was brilliant. Also the two decent size sofas were lovely to lay out on on the few days post event! 

We truly had a lovely week and were so lucky with the weather, we did manage a few walks straight from the door. 

We will definitely be back another time to explore more of the South Lakes.

Our family has enjoyed a really lovely week in Lynwood Cottage which has been the perfect base from which to explore the local area. The house is incredibly well equipped, very cosy and has felt like a home-from-home. Our 2 young sons have enjoyed playing with the farm animals whilst the adults have enjoyed puzzles by the fire. The kindling pile is impressive and should be mrntioned. We’d not hesitate to book again in the future and explore more of this area.
